QWIZDOM @ PACA
God has blessed our school with a wonderful new form of technology. We won a “Qwizdom” remote student response system!
Are you thinking “what in the world is that”. Students have an individual remote they use to respond to teacher created questions on the overhead projectors. Let me share the benefits of using Qwizdom equipment for interactive assessments and voting:
* Engage, motivate, and empower each individual student
* Each remote displays instant right/wrong feedback.
*Student can discreetly ask for assistance* Engage through the use of Qwizdom’s interactive learning games

Document Readers @ PACA
Walk of Faith 2008 blessed our school with funds that allowed us purchase document readers for many of our classes. This great technology tool enhances our classes even more! What is a document reader?
Document readers, sometimes called DigiCams or Elmos, are digital cameras positioned so that documents can be placed under them and the documents are then displayed on the classroom's projector. They are similar to old transparency viewers with the added advantage of being able to show non-transparent items as well as pages of a book, DVD cases, small prints, or anything that our creative teachers can think of :).
Our document readers allow teachers to video record the lesson they are teaching. The videos can be saved and shared for a later time, or with students who might benefit seeing and hearing the lesson again.
PACA Registration
Registration for re-enrolling students and siblings (new student) begins
on 21st January. Priority enrollment for PACA families when enrolling
before Feb. 7th.
Feb. 8th open registration begins. Packets available in the school office.
Kindergarten Roundup - For all families interested in PACA's 2010 - 2011
Kindergarten program. Begins at 11:15 am in Ed. Building room 202.

PACA 2009 Yearbook Awards!
Award of Excellence from Taylor Publishing
Pages from the PACA yearbook will be featured in the 2010 Yearbook Yearbook. Each year Taylor recognizes less than ten percent of yearbook programs with this honor.
Work from our yearbook will be seen and used as a standard of excellence by yearbook advisors, editors and designers across the entire United States.
First Place ACSI Yearbook Competition
Our PACA “Be Transformed” yearbook won first place for yearbook excellence from the Associated of Christian Schools International.
